Balls of fury

Balls of fury is a movie about table tennis. I saw it on DVD last week, oh my, I think I lost 50 IQ points watching it. Avoid!

What war are they taking about?

Increase the military? Are they mad?

The week-end in pictures

Friday morning:
With grandpa we visited the horses that(in the old days) pulled the beer wagon. Going back to the source ...

After a nice lunch, we went tanning in our backyard. Incredible but the weather is great. It is the 5th of January and it is about 23 C, no clouds, waaaw.

Saturday morning:

Naomi went to a sleep-over party Friday night.

Saturday night: Because Naomi had a second sleep-over with her friend in our street, we went to an old fashion birthdayparty. Reminded me of my time as a student at the University of Leuven.

We have cool teachers:
This is not a teacher :-)
Those are not teachers either...

"I met Courtney Love and she said she'd like to sleep with me, but she couldn't cos of my "pop-star thing"... so I said to her I couldn't sleep with her either - cos of her 'ugly thing'..."

"I am the only man who can say he's been in Take That and at least two members of the Spice Girls."

"An awful lot of gay pop stars pretend to be straight. I'm going to start a movement of straight pop stars pretending to be gay."

Elections in the first State: Iowa

Read the comments of the article.
10% of the votes in Iowa and a fifth place, is not good, not bad for Ron Paul.
New Hampshire, the second State election should be a lot better, a second or third place is definitely possible there.
On the republican part Huckabee won, well he doesn't believe in evolution, there goes all that science down the drain. Looks like Darwin is a liar.

Huckabee vs Ron Paul
Priest vs Doctor
God vs Constitution
Fighting vs Peace

Pics Naomi's school

The sign:
Cars go through a drive-through'ish lane, kids step out and enter the school grounds:

The drive-through lane, empty at 8:02. (school starts at 8:00)
The children line-up at 8:00, and bring honors to the flag (lol). Gotta adapt...
The entrance of her school, as you can see, all "buildings" are portables, a new (brick) school will be ready to go for August 2008.

Other view, office is the middle building:

Tomorrow: 3rd of January: First elections in Iowa

In this first phase, republicans and democrats choose their own leaders for the final "real" election in January 2009.

BUT... a people that can RE-elect the dumbest person on earth, that destroyed his country in only 2 terms ... not much of surprise has to be expected...
Giuliani(R) is the worst candidate that that can win the Republican election for January '09 election. Let's pray that rationality takes control over ignorance this time.
On the Democrat's side it will be a close race between Obama and Clinton.
A currency is a proxy for the strength of an economy ... Bush is elected for the first time in November 2000, the dollar was 0.85 then and now 1.47, that's a 70% drop:

GO Ron Paul
