Elections 2008

The average American has either lost or is in the process of losing his job.
The average American is spending huge amounts of money to commute.
The average American can't travel abroad because the value of the dollar has collapsed and everything is sooo expensive there.
The average American is feeling the pain of inflation, prices have gone up more than their income. (that is especially true, if they don't have a job anymore)
The average American has lost $100 000 of artifical home value and is now underwater on their home.
The average American has given back the keys of their leased Lexus, BMW, Infinity Q56, Nissan Armada and Hummer and is now considering the bus.
The average American can't pay for health care.

So, considering ALL of the above... the $64000 question is, who will they vote for?
a) They will vote for McCain, because it can't get any worse than this.
b) They will vote for McCain, because they are a foreclosure expert and he will make sure we will stay in a depression for his whole elected term.
c) They will vote for McCain, because they are ignorant and hence they don't care.
d) They will vote for McCain, because the occupation of Iraq is a good thing and McCain wants to send more troups there. The money that is spent over there would be squandered by the government anyway.
e) They will vote for McCain, because they are sadomasochists.
f) They will vote for McCain, because they have always voted for the Republican candidate, disregarding the capabilities or the IQ of the Republican candidate.
g) They will vote for Obama

That will be a very hard choice... like it was in 2004...

Elections in the first State: Iowa

Read the comments of the article.
10% of the votes in Iowa and a fifth place, is not good, not bad for Ron Paul.
New Hampshire, the second State election should be a lot better, a second or third place is definitely possible there.
On the republican part Huckabee won, well he doesn't believe in evolution, there goes all that science down the drain. Looks like Darwin is a liar.

Tomorrow: 3rd of January: First elections in Iowa

In this first phase, republicans and democrats choose their own leaders for the final "real" election in January 2009.

BUT... a people that can RE-elect the dumbest person on earth, that destroyed his country in only 2 terms ... not much of surprise has to be expected...
Giuliani(R) is the worst candidate that that can win the Republican election for January '09 election. Let's pray that rationality takes control over ignorance this time.
On the Democrat's side it will be a close race between Obama and Clinton.
A currency is a proxy for the strength of an economy ... Bush is elected for the first time in November 2000, the dollar was 0.85 then and now 1.47, that's a 70% drop:

GO Ron Paul
